oh hey before I forget

We all acknowledge that aspects of our real life shape and influence the characters we write, but have your characters ever influenced your real life?

I'm not sure that I can think of any recent examples, but for sure I've done things because I was playing a certain character before.

For example:

- snowboarding (thx, X-Men OC named Sue. I COULD NOT MOVE THE NEXT DAY)
- wearing bright colors (playing Sue, sunshiney Hawaiian surfer girl, p. much put an end to my bb goth phase)
- writing poetry (short-lived, attributed to the first incarnation of Velvet)
- getting really into a game of hockey (courtesy hot-headed Siryn)

Of course, this was also back when I was unhealthily addicted to RP. These days, idk. Sometimes I'll think about getting into Lil's super-self-confident headspace to try and get through something that's making me anxious, but I rarely go through with it. That's about the closest I come anymore.

1. Icons of Brenda Song? Pref. not too over-the-top made-up and dressed up.
2. PBs that look kind of like Brenda Song? (Yeah, coming back to the Sue look-a-like again, I know, I know, but there has to be a PB out there that fits the image in my head! D:)
3. PBs of mixed descent - looking for Asian-ish/Middle-Eastern-ish Female. not too fussed about this one, just curious to see who's out there.
